Ranch is kind of a signature flavor for this, but there are definitely alternatives! You can swap the ranch seasoning for Italian seasoning or a mix of garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, and a bit of paprika.

We’re not fans of ranch but still want to try this.

Yes it does! No draining required.

Nope! No draining. It’ll mix in as part of the sauce.

I would have but the use of chicken broth gave me pause. Does the casserole really absorb 6 cups of liquid?

This is scrumptious! So easy to whip all the ingredients together. I love one pot meals & this might be my all time favorite!! We had no leftovers which is a sign this crack chicken is truly that!! I will absolutely be making this again!

There’s a popular slow cooker recipe called “crack chicken” and it gets its name from being addicting.

Delicious! Easy. Something different than the same old meal. I didn’t add bacon because some don’t eat it. I had bacon in the side for those that wanted it. Made with fresh chicken. I used 4 cups chicken broth because I make my own broth from rotisserie chicken. I added 2 cups water. Will make it again.

Absolutely delicious & so simple. I used my cast iron roaster so it was all done in the same dish. I added 1 red pepper & 1/3 purple onion, cooked turkey from Christmas. I only had 4oz cream cheese so improvised with adding 1/2c sour cream. Topped with leftover shredded parmesan. Everyone loved it after all the traditional Christmas dishes. A perfect easy comfort meal after a day doing chores, being outside in our typical -21°C to -31°C Saskatchewan Canada 🇨🇦
