This hit the spot on a snowy night on the East Coast. It was easy to assemble, and made the house smell INSANE throughout the day. After hours of salivating, it was so comforting to finally dig in. I made a hearty soda bread as an accompaniment, and it was a satisfying, complete meal. This will definitely be in regular rotation. Thank you, SAHC!

Red potatoes don’t need to be peeled, but you can if you’d like to.

Do you peel the red potatoes?

Nice advice! Not fond of Worcestershire.

You can definitely deglaze the pan with a little red wine if you’d like.

This recipe for beef stew is the best I’ve ever had. It is sooo savory. I made butter honey biscuits to go with it and ate too much. It was excellent and my house smells great! Went to the top of my favorites list. ✌️❤️🙏

You can substitute Worcestershire sauce with soy sauce, tamari (for gluten-free), or coconut aminos, mixed with a splash of vinegar and a pinch of sugar.

But on looking at this tasty dish I’ve decided that’s it. Haha. There ain’t much difference between a soup and a stew…They are both hearty meals.

Looking forward to trying this. The weather is just right for this hearty comfort deliciousness. Thank you for all you do. Big smile
