These are the best ones I’ve made, tried others but these are by far the best ones!

They were very good light and soft now I would like to try the garlic herb recipe. I made clove leaf rolls with extra butter unable to freeze any. We ate them all.

Very easy and you’re statement is true light and fluffy. Will make them rather then buying rolls. Thank you

In reply to Georgianne.

I like to make mine roughly about a smaller baseball size (larger than a golf ball for sure!) Then let them rise to a small softball size before putting them in the oven!

I weigh my dough then divide it by 24. Works perfectly!!

Yes, I did mine in the bread machine going by the order given for the machine and after they finished kneading I put the dough in a butter greased bowl covered with Seran wrap to rise. If you use instant yeast (which is what I use) the bread will rise faster then regular yeast. I also added a total of 2/3 cup of sugar instead of the 1/4 cup. I Only added 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt because I used salted butter in the recipe. The second batch I made I happen to have an egg yoke left over from something and added it to the dough along with the two requested in the recipe. Made the second batch taste better I thought!

I’am 73 years old and have been making yeast rolls for as long as I can remember. This recipe is by far the best recipe I have tried. I use instant yeast and add an extra 1/3 cup of sugar to this recipe. I have tried them three times now and they come out perfect each time. I do bake them on 350 degrees. Thank for a keeper and will be used until I can no longer make the rolls!

Yes, it ends up about the size of a golf ball. You can view the video to see their size in comparison to my hand when I roll them.

Can you give me an idea of size (golf ball)? I am making these for a neighbor and I want them to be good!!!

Yes it should! For many years I used my bread machine as a stand mixer for my dough because I didn’t have one. Works great!
