In reply to Melissa. No need to double the recipe, the batter should fit perfectly in a 9x13 pan. Just adjust the bake time to about 40-45 minutes and keep an eye on it towards the end.

I’m baking This white cake recipe now in a 10 inch round pan. Not sure how it will be. I like your website very much have tried a few other cake recipes, but would like to try yours now. Thank you for the great recipes.

This cake was amazing! Gone in an hour from the office. I did find the almond to be overpowering. Next time I will either use vanilla or do it half almond and half vanilla.

Made this beautiful cake for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The cake is soft and flavorful. The icing is a wonderful complement to the delicious cake. The recipe is easy to follow. Hello! I made this cake following the directions to a T. The cake was beautiful & frosting was amazing. However, the cake was very dry. I’m in Colorado, so altitude may be a factor. I’d like to try it again but would like to sub vegetable oil for some of the butter to hopefully gain moisture. Do you have a recommendation for me? I’m thinking swapping 1/2 cup oil for 1/2 cup butter. Thoughts?

I made this in cupcakes for my grand daughters birthday last year and it was absolutely fantastic, and tomorrow for her next birthday she wants a two layer cake……same as last year gramma please!!!!
