Yes, you can absolutely marinate the chicken overnight! It’ll give the spices more time to soak in and make the flavor even better. Just be sure to cover it and keep it in the fridge. You just don’t want to marinate chicken longer than 24 hours.

You could use half and half or milk, just note that the sauce will not be as rich.
