Absolutely! That’s one of the best ways to save banana to use for things like banana bread.

After following these instructions, I will slightly modify my next batch as follows. 1/4 cup more dried fruits, no canola oil, and fill cups 2/3 full.
My first batch was a bit oily and dropped in the middle. Delicious flavor but texture needed improvement .

I have made this several times and it is delicious! I peel the broccoli stems and dice them up as well. So sweet and tender. I use dried cranberries too. The sunflower seeds are the perfect addition for salty taste and texture. The dressing is so good you could drink it! Always a hit and lots of the kids enjoy it as well.

Excellent recipe Rachael! Thanks for sharing. We love this bread! I worked in the restaurant business where we used an egg-butter mix to brush the top of the bread. That’s the only enhancement we made to the bread.

Can I still use these to make my banana bread?
Thanks!

In reply to Stephanie Marzolino.

I have made this several times. I always use Mahatma Jasmine rice, it cooks wonderfully .
I prefer litte or no Italian seasoning, and add more garlic powder and have even added Lipton Onion Soup Mix. Sometimes cook for 10-15 minutes more. I am about to some in the oven now. Starting with frozen chicken. I’ll let you know how that goes! Thanks. Love you ladies take care

This looks like an awesome dessert, and I have made this before, but instead of using chocolate pudding, I used vanilla pudding and put sliced bananas in it. I think when I try this one, however, instead of chocolate ( because I’m really not a chocolate fan) I am going to use pistachio pudding. I might throw in some pistachios with it. I love nuts and can’t ever get enough.

I literally made the soup, JUST NOW! It’s FANTASTIC! It’s amazing how good something in days when you let the natural ingredients shine through. All this is is leeks potatoes salt and pepper and some flavor from the chicken stock. That’s not a lot when you think about it. This is a simple soup to make and also worth it. It also makes great gifts. I already gave some away, piping hot. Thank you Rachel

I made the sauce thicker by adding more than the 1/4 cup. I used mixed veggies too. I had celery and yellow and red peppers that needed to be used,so I sautéd them along with onions and garlic. This is a very tasty casserole and it feeds a lot more than 6 servings . I definitely will make this again and again. My teenage grandchildren will love this!!!❤️
